During the late 2011, AIESEC Doshisha Local Committee supported students who applied for the Overseas Internship Program in Asian countries such as India, Thailand, and Turkey as well as Germany and Kenya. Every year, the students applying for these programs are increasing. Last year, about 20 students from the Doshisha AIESEC Committee were involved in this program. Over 500 members from all of the AIESEC Committee have challenged themselves to work in different places around the world.

  The reason why many of our members are taking part in these programs is because the world has turned into a globalized world and there's the necessity to look into the world and having experiences overseas becomes important. This year, in 2012, the Doshisha AIESEC Committee is organizing an overseas internship program again and tries to help people be comfortable in the globalized world.

  Japan is said to be left behind from the wave of globalization. Thus we hope that students who experienced various programs in AIESEC Doshisha Local Committee will work well in any countries around the world.
